In recognition of Sexual Violence Awareness Month and Autism Awareness Month this episode includes two segments. Simply titled: DID YOU KNOW? The first segment presents some alarming data on sexual violence as it impacts Black women. During the second segment on autism we welcome a guest to speak on the topic. Please note the following data on autism as reported by the Center for Disease Control: 1 in 36 children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder; boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed than girls; and girls tend to be under diagnosed or misdiagnosed.
